Kin is Dead
So, it seems that the whole "Otherkin" thing has died, or has gone into deep hiding. I may be sending this out into empty space right now.
I think it was a combination of things. IMO, it began with the fanbois, kids who just wanted to be edgy and different. I am calling out faerie dragon cat trolls, :I was naruto in a past life," etc...
This nonsense then landed on tumblr, where it got absolutely and mercilessly shredded. A cascade of triggering resulted. Wailing and gnashing of fangs.
And now, the silence of the grave.
